Dean of Faculty

Célestin Nkeramihigo oversees all academic programs and related services. He leads efforts to enhance student learning and drive the development of innovative curricula. Célestin played a key role in designing and implementing Kepler’s Graduate Employment Program (GEP) in Ethiopia and Rwanda, and from 2017 to 2021 he contributed extensively to curriculum design, creating multiple academic programs and courses. He holds an MBA in Project Management and a BA in Communication (Business concentration) from Southern New Hampshire University. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Célestin is also an accredited PMI instructor.

Director of Careers and Alumni Affairs

Karoli Kolokonyi oversees career support services across Kepler’s Kigali and Kiziba campuses, while also fostering partnerships with employers to align student skills with market needs. A Development Practitioner with extensive experience in student career development, Karoli manages alumni engagement to ensure graduates successfully transition to the workplace. For over five years, he has supported students in preparing for careers, securing internships, and accessing tailored interventions that ease their transition into the labor market. Karoli holds a Master’s in Development Practice from Regis University and a BA in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University.

Landouard Habiyaremye specializes in coaching and supporting students to achieve their academic goals. With over a decade of service in advancing student success at Kepler, he has held several leadership roles, including Course Facilitator, Lead Facilitator, Manager of Academic Advising, Associate Director of Academic Support, and Director of Academic Advising. Landouard brings a strong background in community health development from his earlier work in the health sector. He holds an MSc. in Public Health from Clarke International University and an MBA in Project Management.

Jean Pierre Mutambarungu ensures that Kepler College delivers high-quality education through robust quality assurance frameworks that meet both internal standards and external accreditation requirements. Since joining Kepler in 2013, he has pioneered initiatives such as establishing the academic advising team, designing student support systems, strengthening workplace readiness, and leading the accreditation of the BA Project Management program. He has also served as Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Research Affairs, Founding Dean of Faculty, Academic Campus Director, and Course Facilitator. Jean Pierre holds an MBA in International Business from Amity University and a BA with Education from the University of Rwanda.

Marie-Aurore Umutesi leads initiatives to strengthen teaching practices and support student success. Passionate about education, she is committed to helping students become independent learners and thrive in the workplace through effective academic support. Over the past nine years at Kepler, Aurore has served in multiple roles, beginning as a Course Facilitator before advancing to lead and coach teams within the academics department. She brings extensive experience in professional development and faculty coaching. Aurore holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from William Penn University.

Jean Claude Kanyeshyamba leads initiatives that enhance student services, engagement, and support systems. In this role, he works closely with faculty, staff, and student leaders to foster an inclusive and supportive campus environment. Prior to joining Kepler, Jean Claude served as an Administrative Officer at Mount Kenya University, where he gained experience in higher education administration. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education Management and Administration and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Education from Mount Kenya University.
