Kigali, 28 August 2023 – On Monday, Kepler College welcomed over 350 students and guardians to its campus in Kigali for Admit Day 2023, an event that marked the beginning of their academic journey. The event was designed to give the incoming class of 2026 and their families insights into the world of Kepler College – from its academic sessions, vibrant student life, comprehensive financial assistance programs, to the career pathways that await every graduate.

The Kepler College Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Baylie Damtie, delivered a keynote speech that captured the essence of the day and the vision of the institution.

Kepler College is not just a space to learn, but a place to grow. You will develop your character, eloquence, and competence in ways that will prepare you for the challenges and opportunities of the future,” He remarked.

A Source of Pride

The guardians who accompanied their children to Admit Day expressed their pride and gratitude for the opportunity that Kepler College offers. John Ndimubahiriwe, one of the  parents in attendance, beamed with joy as he reflected on the significance of the day.

Seeing my son secure admission here fills me with gratitude. I have faith that Kepler College will shape him into a professional who will make a mark not just in Rwanda but on the global stage,” He stated.

Echoing the optimism, newly-admitted students shared their excitement and expectations for their time at Kepler College. Israel Manishimwe, who will be pursuing a degree in Project Management, voiced the aspirations shared by many of his fellow classmates.

I hold great expectations for my time at Kepler College, anticipating a transformative experience that will set me apart in the competitive job market,” He expressed.

Admit Day is a long-standing tradition during which new students meet Kepler College leaders, explore campus, gain in-depth knowledge about the first-year Keplerian experience, and get to know the Kepler College community.
