Overview
The Apple Authorized Training Center for Education program (AATCe) offers distinct advantages to educational institutions that integrate Apple’s Develop in Swift program into their courses. In partnership with the Ministry of ICT and Innovation, and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), this initiative includes professional development for instructors as well as optional certification exams in App Development with Swift for students who prove their skills in creating exceptional apps. Apple equips students with all the resources necessary to begin designing and coding. With a Mac, along with Swift, Xcode, and Apple’s free developer tools, students have everything they require to create amazing apps.
Curriculum
The program features a self-paced, customized curriculum comprising 460 hours, designed to be completed in a period less than six months, estimating 3 to 4 hours a day; structured as follows:
- Develop in Swift Explorations 180 hours.
- Develop in Swift Fundamentals 180 hours.
- Develop in Swift Data Collections 180 hours
Mode of Delivery
The program is in the piloting phase, each cohort is expected to complete training in 6 months. (in-person, online, or hybrid?)
Eligibility Requirements
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Kepler College students.
- Basic programming knowledge, ideally with a background in Computer Science, IT, or Mathematics from secondary school.
- Good academic progress.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment and availability to participate fully.
- A genuine interest in programming and technology.
