Since 2013, Kepler has been reinventing higher education and creating pathways for vulnerable African youth to access 21st century opportunities. We do this through higher education and upskilling programs that combine in-person and online coursework with on-the-job learning and placement opportunities. Our work addresses barriers along the pipeline to help our students succeed at and after Kepler. 

Admission Criteria

  • Two principal passes in National Examination (Rwandan applicants, equivalent for international students)
  • Secondary/high school scores ( S4, S5 & S6) 
  • Strong interest in business studies/management
  • Strong English skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Valid national/refugee ID or passport 
  • Police clearance letter (international students only)

Financing Model

  • Upfront payment or show commitment to repaying a student loan after securing employment. Scholarships are available for eligible refugees in Rwanda and people with disabilities.

 

 
 

Admission Timeline

  • Online Application Period – August 07 – September 30, 2023
  • Admission Entrance Exam –  October 12, 2023
  • Announcing the provisional list of admitted students – October 23, 2023
  • Admit Day – November 24, 2023

Online Application

  • Personal contact information, including phone numbers
  • Secondary/high school scores for the last three years ( S4, S5 and S6) with an average of 60% or above
  • National exam scores with  at least two principal passes in the main subjects
  • Brief responses about your interest and motivation for applying to the Kepler program
  • An active email address

During the Admission Test

  • National ID or Passport
  • S4, S5 and S6 result slips (final three years of secondary school result slips)
  • Secondary/High school certificate or National exam result slip 

NB. International applicants who are not in Rwanda will complete the admission test online.

Registration Requirements

  • Achieve at least 60% in the Kepler Entry Exams (English Placement Test, Cognitive Test, Interviews)
  • Notarized copy of your high school certificate or its equivalent recognized by REB for international students
  • Parent/guardian and student need to attend an Admit Day event to understand the educational and financial commitment of attending SNHU through Kepler Program
  • Bank slip providing proof of payment  of 50,000 Frw for registration fees
  • Have a laptop and a smartphone or other device to access the internet.

Accepted students will only be allowed to move in upon presenting the following:

  • Valid Mutuelle de Santé card or valid private health insurance card acceptable in Rwanda.
  • Valid police clearance letter and passport for student visa requirements (for international students only)

Fee Structure

– For cohort 2023, the annual tuition fee is 1,650,000 RWF for Rwanda nationals, and 3,200USD for international applicants. This tuition covers access to modules, graduation and degree certificate, all Kepler academic support, internet access, and student support services.

– Rwandan applicants may select a 100% deferred payment (choose to pay with an interest after graduation and securing a job)

– International applicants can only pay upfront

– In addition, all students who are accepted and choose to enroll at Kepler will be required to pay a 50,000 RWF registration fee to secure their spot no later than November 20, 2023.
